Thar Arts & Furniture is a Rajasthan-based handcrafted furniture and home décor brand that blends traditional Indian artistry with modern design sensibilities. Our task was to build a visual identity from the ground up including a meaningful logo, cohesive brand language, and social media content templates — all while staying true to the brand's roots in craftsmanship and heritage.

Understanding Brand Ethos & Aesthetic Direction

Studied traditional Rajasthani art forms, woodwork, and color palettes to build a cultural foundation for the brand identity.


Defined brand tone as earthy, elegant, and rooted — aiming to appeal to a modern yet heritage-loving audience.

Logo Design

Created a logomark inspired by Rajasthani block patterns and minimalist wood engravings, conveying both tradition and refinement.


Used earthy tones and strong serif typography to communicate heritage, warmth, and artisanal quality in a modern way.

Branding System Development

Developed a cohesive brand palette with deep browns, muted terracottas, and sand tones to reflect desert landscapes and raw wood.


Defined brand guidelines including typography, color usage, iconography, and tone of voice to maintain consistency across digital and physical touchpoints.

Understanding Customer Flow & Product Behavior

Studied how users explore premium furniture online—focusing on zoomable product visuals, specs, reviews, and trust badges.


Analyzed competitors to ensure Thar’s unique storytelling and cultural richness stood out without cluttering the purchase journey.

Shopify Website Design

Designed an immersive homepage with visual storytelling, category highlights (e.g., Teakwood Seating, Vintage Decor), and featured artisans.


Built a mobile-first, responsive layout with simplified navigation, wishlist/save functionality, and clearly structured product pages with multiple image angles and embedded storytelling.
